This page provides links to the various types of ToolBook projects I have worked on and illustrate what can be done with ToolBook Instructor 10.5 including ToolBook's ability to create a product that can be viewed on a variety of mobile devices.
ToolBook publishes SCORM- and AICC-compliant content, so it works seamlessly with your learning management system (LMS). Click here to learn how to download, set up, and use the SCORM Test Suite to test Storyline SCORM content. If you don't have access to an LMS, check out the SCORM Cloud. Click the links below for a few examples of modules delivered via the SCORM Cloud. While testing each of these, pay close attention to the Completion and Satisfaction statuses when you stop and resume while in the middle of a module as well as when you pass or fail the Assessment. Short Course on Assessing Student Knowledge of Research Design
This short course will provide students with a overview of research designs used in Psychology (case studies, correlational design and experimental design), basic statistical concepts, and an application of select concepts using SPSS including a Frequency Distribution. In addition, there will be a couple of lessons on how to use Excel in a Business Class. This course can be viewed on PCs/Notebooks as well as the iPAD. Prototype for a Course on How to Use a Website
This is a prototype of a course that was never delivered but shows how ToolBook can be used to teach users how to access and use a Website built for teachers in North Carolina. This course can be viewed on PCs/Notebooks as well as the iPAD. Prototype for a Set of Chemistry Study Materials
This was built to illustrate how ToolBook can be used to provide online learning materials for general chemistry students. This course can be viewed on PCs/Notebooks as well as the iPAD.
These were some of the first examples of eLearning created with ToolBook and delivered to the iPhone. Note the smaller size of each application so that it would fit the iPhone screen and these will only be capable of being viewed on the iPhone.
